Say Goodbye To Vinyl Boat Registration Numbers & Letters

Hello fellow JetBoaters,

As you are aware, we here at JetBoatPilot are always looking for the next new and cool thing to help you customize your Yamaha boat and to make it your own. We like to do things with class and to be well presented, and aspire to offer products that look like they came with the boat from the factory.

We are proud to announce that we have found yet another product that will be added to our web-store this coming week. There are two main choices for you and multiple choices within those main choices. First you will have the option to purchase your boat's registration numbers in an OEM looking 3-Dimensional Chrome look, as though your boat came from the factory with your numbers attached. See image below for reference.

The registration kit pictured above will come with your boat's unique letters and numbers along with pressure sensitive adhesive backing, install guide and a template to help you line the letters up in a presentable way. You also have your choice of color inserts like white, black, blue, red, green, purple and yellow.

We are also offering smaller chrome letters in four unique styles so you can add words, phrases, boat names, or replace existing vinyl words with shiny chrome ones. For instance your current "Twin Engine" sticker can be replaced with something like this:

Or, your "High Output" Stickers can be replaced with this:

Later this spring, JetBoatPilot will be offering a JBP Edition Package that will come with these chrome letters along with a matching JBP Edition logo plate plus many of our most popular accessories, giving you another opportunity to make your boat stand out from the rest! Check back with us in the near future about our new JBP Edition Packages.

For more details about the letters you see above, visit our website at: http://jetboatpilot.com/store/index.php/boat-letters-emblems.html

Thank you for reading today, have a great day!

Salt Water Flush Demonstration

Hey guys, This video was produced to illustrate the proper method to flush your engines after running in salt water. Please forgive the appearance of this video. Our original footage was lost.

We hope this video was informative. For more videos visit our youtube channel from our home page link at www.jetboatpilot.com.

Yamaha Jet Boat Shallow Water Draft Demonstration

This video was produced to illustrate what is actually happening when you operate your engines in very shallow water. Notice in the video, that when the boat begins to move forward, the vortex dissipates. This distance was about ten inches from the bottom. When you add the total draft of 16 inches to the ten inches you get a safe operational depth of about 26 inches.

YAMAHA BOAT SELECTED TO BOATING MAGAZINE’S “BEST BOATS OF THE MILLENNIUM”

Yamaha WaterCraft Group, a division of Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., today announced that Boating® magazine has selected the Yamaha AR230 to their coveted Top 10 List of Best Boats of the Millennium. The Yamaha AR230 is the predecessor to one of the most popular boats on the water today, the 24-foot Yamaha AR240.

According to Boating magazine, the AR230 not only held its own among the reigning stern drives of its time, it bettered them marking a sea change in the way consumers viewed jet drive boats.

“What hit you right off is the Yamaha boat transom. Yamaha designers watched how we use runabouts and saw that when not underway, we congregate in the stern. So why not make the aft platform area the center of activity,” said Boating magazine.

“The low profile of the Yamaha engines made it possible to design a 4'-deep platform that's arranged on two levels to create a comfortable lounging area. It's a design that can't be duplicated on a stern drive-powered boat, which has a much taller engine sitting right up against the transom. There's also the feeling of safety offered by the jet drives, which are tucked far under the stern of the boat-away from the feet of young swimmers,“ the magazine added.

“The AR230 is a shining example of the design philosophy that we still utilize today. We let our customers direct product planning by telling us how they use their boats. Then we take that first hand information and then try to exceed their expectations on every level,” said Scott Watkins, head of product planning for Yamaha’s Watercraft Group.

Yamaha concluded the 2012 selling season with its highest share of market ever in the 16 to 25-foot family fun category; having the number one selling boat in each of its segments. For 2013, Yamaha offers 12 models ranging in length from 19’ to 24’.
